Joseph was a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker for the past 20 years. Jody was to all who met him a true gentleman, he loved helping anyone at any time. A kind and loving family man, Jody loved being with his family and friends at his shore house. Nothing gave him more pleasure than bringing his family and friends out on his boat for a day of fun. He relished spending time with Donna, his sons and grandson at the beach, on the boat, or just being in his garage fixing things. Jody truly enjoyed making those around him comfortable and happy.

Funeral Mass will be Thursday September 29, 2022 at Our Lady of Consolation RC Church at 11:30 am. Visiting Wednesday 4-8 pm at the Marrocco Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue, Clifton.

NedWardWith deep regret, we inform you that Edward “Ned” Ward II, former Broker of Coldwell Banker New Vernon, NJ, has passed away. In addition to being a valued member of NCJAR since the 1970s, Ned served as President of the Morris County Board of Realtors, NJ Realtors, as well as Regional Vice President over New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania for the National Association of Realtors. During his tenure, the education requirement for real estate salespersons was raised to a high school diploma. The entire Real Estate Community will greatly miss Ned.

Ned is survived by his wife Sally, his daughter Christy, his son Edward III (Ned), and his grandchildren Maia and Saya. There will be a memorial service Saturday, October 1st at 11am at the New Vernon Presbyterian Church, 4 Lees Hill Road, New Vernon, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made in Ned’s memory to either the New Vernon Presbyterian Church (https://www.pcnv.org) or the New Vernon Volunteer Fire Department/First Aid Squad (https://www.nvvfd.org)

Carol was employed by Teleport, an import-export firm, and also completed studies to become a licensed realtor. She enjoyed interacting with home buyers and sellers, and even assisted multiple generations within families. Carol served as president of the Passaic County Board of Realtors.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carol’s memory to Paterson Great Falls Rotary Club - Military Assistance Pantry, P.O. Box 3027 Paterson, NJ 07509, as this was near and dear to her.

Marge CuccaroIt is with sadness that we inform you of the passing of NCJAR Member, Marjorie Cuccaro of Berkshire Hathaway, Westfield.

Margie began her career in real estate in the early 1980’s, so that her work schedule could be flexible while she was raising her family.  Her real estate career went on to span the course of four decades.  She was passionate about her job and helped hundreds of people find their dream home through the years.  Most recently, she was the manager of Berkshire Hathaway’s Westfield office, a job that she loved and never wanted to retire from. 

Visitation will take place on Monday, June 6, from 4-8pm at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home in Westfield.  The funeral mass will be on Tuesday, June 7 at 9:30am at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church in Scotch Plains.  To In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Sunshine Kids in honor of Marjorie Cuccaro at www.sunshinekids.org.
